KAOS Performance Fitness is the leading personalized fitness training that comes to you. KAOS Performance Fitness is for busy moms who want to get stronger and build strength while losing excess fat.
Unlike other studios, gyms, or home workout programs, where nothing is personalized specifically for women, KAOS Performance Fitness has personalized women’s training programs that can even be created for pre/postnatal women and women entering menopause.
We help moms prioritize their health so they can take on life’s challenges.
As a mother of four, I know what it’s like to feel guilty for putting yourself first. When I first became a mother, I put the wants and needs of my family first and by the end of the day, I had barely enough energy for myself. I knew other women were feeling the same way when it came their fitness goals and I wanted to make achieving their goals easier and less complicated.
Since 2018 we have helped 25 women increase their strength and energy in the Sacramento area.
How I can help you
Step 1: We start by defining your goals. We discuss why you've decided to work on your health and fitness goals now and why it's important to you. Most importantly we discuss why you haven't been able to accomplish this in the past.
Step 2: We build a program based on what we discussed in step one. Your program takes multiple factors into account: your sleep routine, your nutrition, your job, your lifestyle, if you're pregnant or postpartum and if you're entering menopause. All of these factors play a role in your reaching health and fitness goals.
Step 3: We implement your program. We teach you how to add exercise and healthy eating to your everyday life so you don't have mom guilt, so you have energy to do the activities you love without pain and so you can love yourself.
What's stopping you?
Having kids is challenging and can be overwhelming. Your kids will look to you to be at your best all the time. They are looking for guidance and they are looking for a mom that is confident and strong inside and out. Can you be that for them if you don't start now?
You are also trying to still make time for yourself and learn to love yourself again without feeling guilty for being selfish. Will you be content with your body and mental health by continuing to put yourself second?
About Your Trainer
I'm Karlynn, owner and personal trainer at KAOS Performance Fitness, LLC. I have been a personal trainer for seven years helping women prioritize their health, fitness and nutrition. Why do I do it?
My love for exercise and nutrition began when I was an athlete. I played volleyball all throughout high school and college. Physical activity was and still is my therapy. Being in the gym, focusing on getting stronger and faster helped me to clear my head, relieve stress and anxiety and gain confidence. Once in the gym nothing else mattered, it was just me against me.
After I became a mom, my focus shifted to taking care of my family. I have four kids, three girls and one boy, as well as two dogs. Needless to say they take up a lot of my time and energy. Early on while raising my family I started to lose sight of who I was. I was always tired, always feeling overwhelmed, even resentful at times. There were times I would think to myself, "once my kids are older I can focus on me again". That just seemed like such a long time and I was tired of how I felt and how I looked. The reality is, your kids will always need you and you will always be a mom. It was in that moment I remembered how playing volleyball made me feel and how I looked. How exercise and eating healthier made me a better person to everyone.
So I started a workout routine. I worked out five days a week and paid close attention to what I ate. Over the course of 12 months I stayed consistent with exercise and nutrition. I wasn't perfect with it but I stuck with it. By the end of the 12 months I lost 50lbs and felt amazing. I loved looking at myself in the mirror and how my clothes fit. I was more inclined to take pictures and play with my kids. I was me again.
Today exercise is just part of my day. Eating a healthy balanced meal is just something I do. My story is the reason why I became a certified personal trainer who focuses on how to train women and work with their changing bodies. I want to help other women who are struggling to make time for themselves. Are you ready for me to help you prioritize your health, fitness and nutrition?
